We had a wonderful day on Wednesday, 27 May for National Simultaneous Storytime. Our classes joined with their buddy classes to read together and join in activities. The children in years prep to year 3 read Pete the Sheep by Jacki French and the classes from 4 - 7 read a range of Aussie Mates books written by well known Aussie Authors.
To show that they are well READ, the children wore RED to school. The student councillors collected the children's gold coin donations which will go to expand our library resources.
National Simultaneous Storytime is a wonderful day which brings our school together as a community and encourages our children to develop a love of reading and books.
