"Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul" Written by teenagers.
This book is about life changing decisions, teenagers have made in their lifetime and problems that they have overcome due to confidence and believing in themselves.
The title of this book is Elephant's Lunch.The author is Kate Walker and the illustrator is Ann James.
The setting is at the Jetty waiting for the ferry to come.Some of the main characters are Clara,Claras mum and an elephant.
The plot is about a girls mum who gives her daughter enough food to feed and elephant. The girl ends up figuring out how much an elephant acutally eats.My favourite part of the book is when Clara is ready to go on the ferry and she has no more food left for school.
The title of this book is Freeing Billy. This book was written by Meredith Costain and illustrated by Trish Hill.
This book is set in High Street where Billy, Benny and Astrid, the main characters live.
Freeing Billy is about a young boy named Benny who thought there were no dogs in High Street.When Benny and his sister Astrid discover a do they are shocked.Each day Benny and Astrid visit the dog with left over scraps to feed the dog but each day the dog becomes thinner and thinner and manages to squese more of himself through the fence. Benny and his sister Astrid name the dog billy, so will billy escape and if he dose what will happen?
My favourite part of the story is when Astrid first meets billy the dog.
Gone fishing is the title of the book I read. The authors names are felice Arena and Phil kettle and the illorstrator is Susy boyer.
The story was set at the local river. Tom and joey are the main characters. The two arive at the river and prepare for fishing. Tom is afraid to bead the worm on to his hook. In the end he does it. The boys start fishing and they have a big one. The boy struggle to reel the fish in. Then the line goes lose it is gone.The best part of the story is when they almost catch the big one.
The title of this book is called Budgie. Budgie is wrtten and illustrated by Steven Woolman.
Budgie is set in Lou's house, were the main characters, Lou and Budgie, live.
Budgie is about a blue budgie that flew out of the sky and fell at Lou's feet. Lou checks the newspapers and notice board but no one seem to own Budgie. Lou and Budgie are best friends, but does their friendship stay around forever. My favourite part is when Budgie falls out of the sky and lands in front of Lou's feet.

This story takes place on a beach next to a light house. The main characters are Ben and Licky.
This story is about a young boy named Ben who lives in a lighthouse and is afraid of the sea until he makes friends with a little white dog. My favourite part in this book is that Ben dosen't have scary dreams about the ocean anymore.
The title of the book I read is called Ht Stuff.The author's name is Margaret Clark.The illistrator's name is Tom Jellett.
The main setting in the book Hot Stuff is at the local beach.The main character in the book is Harry and there is also his sister Megan, his mum and his dad.
The plot for this story was about a boy called Harry who comes home to find his dad has bought a doughnut van to sell hot doughnuts.They drive to the beach to sell doughnuts and a big crowd of people come up to buy doughnuts.After a long day of selling doughnuts they decide to lock the van and go for a walk.But as soon as they leave the van it explodes and doughnuts fly all over the beach.All kinds of media come rushing up to get a story.Then a man that had bought doughnuts comes up and offers them a job to sell doughnuts all over the country.My favourite part in this story is when the van explodes and doughnuts fly over the beach landind on everyone and everything.
My rating for this book would be good because it is very different and interesting.
The book that i read is called Scruffy's day out, the author that wrote this book is Rachel Flynn.
The main characters in this story is Justin, Joel, Jesse, John, and Jack. The setting is outside at the front of the house.
The plot for this story is Last Sunday when dad dashed onto the road and saved a cute little scruffy dog. Who does the dog belong to? My favourite passage in the story is when A girl called Monica rushed up to the dog and cuddled it. "Scruffy," she said, "your found." The dog licked her face and waved his tail.
This title is called Spike, the author is Phil Cummings and the Illustrator is David Cox.
The setting is place at the park, the main characters are Joe, Spike,Gabby,Jake,and Mr.Cook.
The plot is, Joe and his little dog named Spike are best friends, Every morning Joe likes to go for a walk with Spike, One day Spike chases a cat, he runs and runs and soon he is lost in the big city. My favourite part in the book is when Spike is found by his owner.
The title of this book is Monkey Talk.The Auther is Moya Simons and the Illustater is Mitch Vane.
The main setting is at a zoo. the main characters are Penny but her bother danny calles her bub Tub there Mum and there Dad.
This story is about a little girl named Bub Tub who can talk to monkeys and lions but when it comes to people she can understund them they can't understund her.
"What kind of monkey are you?" asked another monkey. "Lffle uffle Bub Tub," said Bub Tub. "She's a Bub Tub monkey," explained a monkey with a wise face and a very, very lager puink bottom. That is my favourite passage.
